About Earth and Skeleton

Hi, I’m Jess, the creator of Earth & Skeleton. I’m a veteran secondary science teacher with a B.S. in Neuroscience and minor in Biology. Over the years, I have taught biology, forensics, anatomy & physiology, and environmental science.

As a teacher, I always felt like science teachers were thrown in the deep end - PDs focused on math and literacy, and our curriculum money went to calculators and new novels. I began creating my lesson materials from scratch, and I’ve been shuffled around in the science department for quite a while - so I have had the pleasure of teaching multiple subject areas in secondary science. Thus, Earth & Skeleton was born!
